Concentrix contract helps firm clean up
Support services company the Mount Charles Group is cleaning up in the industry following a new contract by its cleaning division with IT firm Concentrix.
The contract encompasses Concentrix's Belfast portfolio, which includes three buildings that house almost 1,250 staff over a total of 90,000 sq ft.
The win strengthens the Mount Charles Group's cleaning division, which now accounts for 35% of the overall business.
Recent contracts with Energia and Virdian have helped the arm of the business grow by 20% within the past year.
Cathal Geoghegan, managing director of the group, said he was delighted with the latest contract.
"Much like us, their business is growing at a rapid pace and I look forward to developing our working relationship as things evolve.
"I'm very pleased with how our cleaning division is performing," he added. "It was conceived in 2012 and has already allowed us to add around 340 people to our total employee head count."
Gerard Cassidy of Concentrix said Mount Charles' service was "excellent".
