A Co Tyrone construction firm has secured a £2.8m deal to build 28 new homes as part of major development.
Connolly & Fee has been named as contractor for the Helm Housing scheme in Dungannon - which will provide accommodation for 77 people.
The development includes 21 two-bedroom apartments and seven single room flats and is due to be completed in December 2016.
Connolly & Fee will also provide employment opportunities as part of the Department for Employment and Learning's Steps to Work programme.
Shane Connolly of Connolly & Fee said:"The innovative design, which includes underground parking, will be a welcome challenge and we look forward to delivering this project by autumn 2016."
Michael McDonnell, chief executive of Helm Housing, said: "We are delighted to appoint Connolly & Fee as the contractor for the Sloan Street development and see work on construction of 28 new homes begin.
"This is a significant investment of £2.8m by Helm Housing and the project will help play a part in easing housing stress in the Dungannon and south Tyrone areas."
