Crash management company on expansion drive

An accident management company has opened its third Northern Ireland branch as part of a £1m expansion plan, creating four new jobs.

Crash Services has located its new branch in Bangor, Co Down, in a move it says is the next step in creating a regional network of sites across the country.

The new branch is on Balloo Avenue, the main carriageway between Bangor and Newtownards. Its opening follows the launch of Crash Repair Solutions sites at Stockman's Lane in Belfast and on the Belfast Road in Newry.

The company has set a target of opening six new branches altogether, however no future site locations have yet been decided.

Tony McKeown, sales and marketing director at Crash, said: "We have carefully selected the locations to provide support in high traffic areas. Our other sites in Belfast and in Newry are performing well above expectations. We anticipate the Bangor branch will also perform well."

The company said it was delighted to be bringing employment to the local economy.

A company spokesman said: "Each new addition to the network is creating up to four jobs. So far, our expansion strategy has created 12 jobs."
