A DUNMURRY firm has won export business to Hungary and is now targeting work in Russia.
Brookvent, which manufactures window ventilation and heat recovery systems, will supply products to a window manufacturer for a construction project in nearby Poland in a deal worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The company, which employs almost 50 people, first visited Poland in 2009 on an Invest Northern Ireland trade mission and now has an office there. Brookvent used a recent Invest NI visit to pinpoint more opportunities in Hungary and Poland.
Declan Gormley, Brookvent managing director, said: "We have identified substantial business opportunities for our window ventilation and heat recovery systems which are much more advanced than longer established products available there."
Dr Vicky Kell, Invest NI trade director, added: "It's encouraging to see how Brookvent is exploiting the opportunities that are developing in infrastructure projects, especially in new housing, in Hungary."
