Electronics firm seals deals to South Africa

A Cookstown electronics company has secured an export deal with two companies in South Africa.

FSL Electronics will export its 'JumpMat' and 'Ultrabeam' Infrared remote controllers to the Johannesburg-based firms.

The deals follow FSL's trip to South Africa on Invest Northern Ireland's first Going South Africa programme.

"The visit was excellent and will provide a platform for us to build on the initial sales by setting up distributors for JumpMat and our remote controllers," Cathal Rodgers, the company's Business Development Manager said.

"While we have secured business in this market via recent mission participation through Sales Director Paul O'Hara for our electronic scoreboards, 'JumpMat' and the remote controllers were both new to the market and both attracted very positive feedback."

The Tyrone company is a specialist in the design and manufacture of electronic devices for industries such as materials handling and sports equipment.
