Newtownabbey-based IT company Northgate has landed a contract with UK property consultants, Strutt and Parker.
The five-year deal will see the firm design, implement and manage IT infrastructure to support Strutt -amp; Parker's growing reliance on information and communication technologies (ICT) systems.
Northgate will build, own and manage the ICT infrastructure on behalf of Strutt and Parker, which has been designed to be flexible enough to support new mobile technÃ³ologies as the firm grows.
This service will be delivered from Northgate's ITIL certified centre of excellence in Belfast and using Northgate's national engineering team to provide local support at Strutt and Parker UK offices.
Northgate chief executive Andy Ross said: "Northgate's strength is working with customers who are undergoing change and need a trusted partner to help shape and drive the business.
"The main challenge for Strutt and Parker was that they needed to improve the quality of their IT systems to support their changing business needs in a geographically diverse environment to continue to improve the quality of service.
"Our service goes beyond resolving day-to-day IT issues. By using ITIL best practice service management tools, we will ensure delivery of strategic outcomes, not only addressing technology issues but, more importantly, the company's IT performance, thereby maximising return on investment."
