A Newry accident management company has signed deal with the UK arm of a French car company which will see it offering accident support for around 70,000 Renault drivers in Northern Ireland.

The deal between CRASH Services and Renault UK means that anyone who owns a Renault car will get free accident support if they're involved in an accident.

CRASH Services already works with repair centres and brokers in Northern Ireland. This deal is its first with a major car retailer.

Dharmesh Sethi, market manager body, Renault UK, said: "It's estimated that up to 10% of all drivers are involved in accidents every year, so it's important to us at Renault that we offer a reliable and trusted accident support service to all our customers.

"In Northern Ireland, we've chosen CRASH to help us deliver that reassurance. CRASH Services is a well-known and trusted brand and their customer-focused ethos is similar to ours.

"We would urge all Renault drivers to activate their free membership so they can be prepared if the unexpected happens."
