Fifty new full-time and part-time jobs are to be created at a Belfast department store.
House of Fraser in Victoria Square shopping centre said it was recruiting for positions including brand specialist, sales adviser and senior sales adviser.
The store said the recruitment drive followed the arrival of new brands to its womenswear and homewear departments.
Michelle Jackson, store manager at House of Fraser, said: "We anticipate a high number of applicants given the extremely competitive package offered by House of Fraser, which include generous salary scales and excellent employee benefits.
"House of Fraser is committed to promoting from within and has some fantastic opportunities for those who are keen to develop professionally within a successful retail business."
House of Fraser opened in March 2008 and is the flagship department store at Victoria Square. The 200,000 sq ft store employs around 750 full and part-time staff.
Meanwhile, an IT outsourcing company in Co Antrim has launched the second year of its apprenticeship scheme for school leavers.
The Northgate Managed Services scheme, which is supported by the Department for Employment and Learning, had a 90% retention rate after its first year in operation.
Northgate employs 600 people in its Newtownabbey premises.
There are currently places for 10 apprentices, who will 'earn as they learn' while studying for their National Vocational Qualification level two and three IT practitioner qualifications.
Andy Ross, chief executive of Northgate Managed Services, said: "We are delighted to be able to continue to invest in this programme, which has been an outright success. Other IT companies are now looking to follow in our footsteps."
