Google clinic on boosting web ranking
Experts from Google will be in Belfast next month to coach businesspeople on how to use the website to their company's best advantage.
For the first time, Northern Irish businesses can meet up with the Google webmaster team and speak to the experts behind the world's biggest internet advertising agency, who will offer personal advice on features such as pay per click, AdWords, SEO and many more.
In 1998, the average number of Google searches per day was 9,800 and by 2013 this figure had exploded to 5,922,000,000, with Google now accounting for around 70% of all web searches in the world during the last decade.
When running a marketing campaign, SEO, or search engine optimisation, improves a company's website position on the Google search result pages.
The clinic will be part of the Smart Business Show in the Odyssey Arena, Belfast on May 29 and 30. Other big name speakers include Louise Phelan, PayPal's vice president of global operations for EMEA.
