Grocer puts focus on sales growth for 2012

Online grocer Ocado said its operational problems were largely behind it as it looks to focus on driving sales growth this year.

The retailer, which delivers Waitrose and its own products to much of the UK, is looking to bounce back from a loss of £2.4m in 2011 after it struggled with capacity constraints at its Hatfield distribution centre. It fuelled hopes of a turnaround, leading to a 3% rise in its share price.
