Half of All Managers fear more JOB cuts ahead

Half of company managers expect further job losses next year, with those in the public sector feeling insecure in their own jobs, according to a new study. A survey of more than 800 people by the Chartered Management Institute also disclosed worries among managers about skills shortages and poor morale in their organisation.

More than eight out of 10 managers in the public sector predicted redundancies in 2011 as the Government's cuts in public spending take effect.
