Hill Engineering export plan sees workforce doubling
A Co Down engineering company is to double its workforce as it targets export trade in Canada and Latin America.
Hill Engineering, which already does business in Australia and America, is also extending to provide additional warehousing and research and development facilities.
The firm, which designs and manufactures couplers and buckets for the construction industry, has experienced a recent high level of commercial success following the development of a coupler which won the Queen's Award for Enterprise earlier this year.

"We already have a presence in Australia and America and as part of our significant growth plans we hope to increase our penetration in these markets," she commented.
Geoff Sharpe, corporate banking manager with Danske Bank – Hill's new banker – added: "Hill Engineering is an ambitious and dynamic business with big plans for the future.
