It helped us move forward

WARRENPOINT-based company Sipfit Ltd has achieved considerable market presence during the past four years, growing from strength to strength following a range of support from Invest NI.

Specialising in offsite modern methods of construction using eco-friendly Structurally Insulated Panels (SIPs), SipFit has secured new business worth £1.7m in the last six months alone and expects to deliver £3m of new business over the next six months.

The company's managing director, Eamonn Connolly (above) said: "We have found Invest NI to be a centre of excellence in sharing knowledge and expertise which has helped point us in the right direction and move forward with our growth plans.

"Its involvement has been critical, allowing us to undertake developments that we wouldn't have been skilled enough to do without its support to get the right skills and expertise around us."

"The mentoring we received as part of the Business Growth Programme guided us on how to implement our plans in a structured fashion and Invest NI's financial assistance in recent years has also enabled us to carry out investments which have led to securing export sales and creating new jobs.

"We now employ 21 people at our factory in Warrenpoint and are looking forward to pursuing new opportunities, particularly in mainland Europe."
