Kilwaughter Minerals creates 30 new jobs with £5m investment in Antrim

Construction and agriculture materials producer, Kilwaughter Minerals, in Co Antrim, is to invest £5m and create 30 new jobs as market conditions improve.

Kilwaughter in Larne employs 130 people and said it is expanding in response to growth in housebuilding in the UK, and the agri sector in Ireland.

The firm, which makes specialist products K-Rend and Kilwaughter Lime, said it would also be investing in plant equipment and infrastructure.

The posts will include roles in business development and IT.
