LSH scoops top award at ceremony

By John Mulgrew

Property firm Lambert Smith Hampton has been named Northern Ireland's most active commercial agent for 2015.

The firm was the overall regional winner in the EGi Deals Competition for 2015, which is run by the Estates Gazette.

Speaking about this year's regional winner, the Estates Gazette said: "In 2014 Lambert Smith Hampton's name came from nowhere to finish top of the podium in Northern Ireland and the reason was its acquisition of regional specialist BTW Shiells.

"If anything, its foothold here became even more entrenched in 2015 after it added the investment category to the office, retail and industrial rankings which it topped in the previous year. By far the busiest market in the region was retail."

Keith Shiells, director of Lambert Smith Hampton in Belfast, said: "The team is delighted to receive this recognition from Estates Gazette."

Mr Shiells added: "2015 was a pivotal year in the improving fortunes of the Northern Ireland commercial property market and we expect further progress in 2016."
