Maxol to supply all Ulsterbus anti-freeze

Petrochemicals firm Maxol Lubricants has been awarded the tender to be sole supplier of anti-freeze for Ulsterbus for three years.

The new contract, which includes selective catalyst reduction additives, will see the Dublin company service Translink's 300 bus services across Northern Ireland and to and from Dublin.

Owen O'Neill, general manager of Maxol Lubricants said: "This represents a huge win for Maxol Lubricants and reaffirms our position as the leading supplier of quality lubricants to the private and public sectors in the province.

"As a local business we're delighted to have secured the contract with Ulsterbus to exclusively supply all of its anti-freeze and selective catalyst reduction additives."

Neil Bowers, procurement project advisor at Translink, said: "We look forward to working with Maxol Lubricants. They are a well-established Irish company with a proven track record and we wish them every success during the lifetime of this contract."
