Negative Games impact offset by tourism boost

Currency exchange firm Travelex has hailed 'exceptional growth' from emerging markets but admitted that the Olympics has been hitting revenues from business travellers.

Travelex said it was unconcerned by the Olympics impact as it was largely offset by a rise in tourism and would not have a material impact on its results.

Chief executive Peter Jackson said: "The showcase that London is providing for the world will lead to a big boost in tourism and we are very excited by that."
