New flights boost for Ulster firms as Aer Lingus announces Toronto and San Francisco routes

New Aer Lingus flights from Dublin to Toronto and San Francisco next year will boost Northern Ireland businesses, it's been claimed.

The airline announced that it will operate five flights per week from Dublin to San Francisco, while a new Dublin to Toronto route will fly every day over the summer and up to four times a week in the winter.

Christoph Mueller of Aer Lingus said: "Northern Ireland's links to Canada, both cultural and commercial, are well known and we see our new Toronto route providing great access for tourists, friends, families and businesses.

"There are more than 70 firms in Northern Ireland with links to Canada and this route will improve their access to North America and beyond."
