New investment at telecoms firm

A telecoms consulting company in Belfast will create six jobs as it aims for over £1m in sales to Britain and the Republic following a major investment.

Bohill Consulting said the growing popularity of smart phones, apps and 'rich media' content had led to increased demand for its products.

The company has offices in Belfast and Dublin and clients include Vodafone, eircom and Virgin Media.

It has invested £484,000 in business development, including support of £46,400 from Invest NI.

Company director James Burns said: "These services allow our partners to realise their competitive advantage. We plan to exploit this opportunity by building a team of experienced specialist consultants and by targeting new customers in Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland."

Mark Bleakney, of Invest NI said: "The new high calibre jobs being created by Bohill Consulting will significantly strengthen the company's ability to deliver high-end consultancy projects."
