New shops at outlet centre

A Co Antrim outlet shopping centre has announced two new openings, adding to its homeware and clothes offerings.

Fashion and sports store Madhouse is opening its first store in Ireland at Junction One International Outlet Shopping Centre.

The new store will trade as The Brand Centre and will stock casual wear for men and women featuring labels such as Calvin Klein, Pierre Cardin and Kangol.

Homewares brand Tefal is opening its first Northern Ireland outlet store at Junction One. The store will sell Krups, Rowenta and Tefal kitchenware and appliances and Krups Nespresso coffee machines.

Junction One centre manager Leona Barr said: "As a top quality international brand Tefal complements our existing range of homewares stores and has already proved extremely popular with customers looking for top brands at good value.

"The Brand Centre targets the younger market giving customers the opportunity to purchase fashion labels at discounted prices."

Meanwhile, TDK commercial property consultants in Belfast has announced that home furnishing retailer Dunelm Mill has signed up to a new terrace at Riverside Retail Park, Coleraine, creating 50 new jobs.

TDK retail partner Mark Thallon said: "This letting is a significant coup for Coleraine in what is currently a tough market."
