Restaurateur Nick Price, is making a comeback in cuisine as he advises on the menu at a new restaurant in Co Down.
After selling his establishment in Belfast's Cathedral Quarter last year, Mr Price has donned his chef's whites anew to help launch new restaurant Coq & Bull at The Clandeboye Lodge Hotel.
The hotel, which is on the edge of the Clandeboye Estate outside Bangor, has spent £500,000 on the transformation of its ground floor, with the new brasserie the venture's centrepiece.
Nick Price, heralded with bringing Northern Ireland cuisine into a new era through his cooking at Nick's Warehouse, is advising head chef Ian Little and his team on the venue's menu and food presentation.
Mr Price said: "The team at the Clandeboye Lodge really care about food and local produce – their passion for the project really inspired me. When they showed me their plans for the restaurant I felt it was something I really wanted to be part of. I'm very much looking forward to working with the team at Coq & Bull to create some great dishes."
