Northgate helps US giant make IT switch
A Co Antrim IT company has successfully set up the IT infrastructure for a global pharmaceutical company's new US headquarters.
Newtownabbey-based Northgate Managed Services has worked with The Almac Group for eight years.
The clinical analysis and drug development giant moved to new labs in Pennsylvania and Northgate was responsible for ensuring the transfer of key web services from Almac's old data centres to the new location.
The Northgate team created a fully integrated solution - including the latest Citrix NetScaler online security technology.
Andrew Hillis, group head of information services for the Almac Group, said: "The end result was the successful transfer and centralisation of resources, with an enhanced and highly effective infrastructure which is positioned to allow for future growth."
