Is the glass half full or half empty? It's always half full.

Culture vulture, sports fanatic or petrol head? None really but, at a push, culture vulture - good wine and good food are my passion.

Blockbuster, romcom, thriller, musical? Intense thriller.

Fiction or non-fiction? Wine and cookery books are my passion. At the moment I am reading The Innovator's Dilemma by Clayton M Christensen.

I'd rather be listening to... French jazz music.

Holidays at home or away? Both - it all depends on the weather. At home when it's good weather - our own wee country is a gem in the sun. When the wind is blowing and the rain is coming down in sheets a weekend in the south of France is great.

My favourite place outside of NI is... South of France.

The most dangerous thing I've ever done is... I'm a trained pilot so I guess flying at 500ft at 200mph is as dangerous as it gets.

How much tea or coffee do you drink in a day? Too much - I am an avid fan of good coffee.

I couldn't live without... Liquorice Confits - I have a packet per night.

A night in or a night out? A night in - having reached the grand old age of 32 nights making dinner is as rock and roll as it gets.

What's your poison? A cheeky Malbec is hard to beat.

Sweet or savoury? Definitely savoury - classic French is my favourite food.

What I enjoy most about being in business is... The daily challenge and knowing that you are in charge of your own destiny.

My childhood hero was... RAF pilots - it's what I wanted to do from an early age, but unfortunately my eyesight let me down.

If I didn't do my current job I'd be... A pilot.

What would you like your epitaph to be? I came, I saw, I played conkers ...
