Belfast Telegraph

Out of the office: Graham Glover

Is the glass half full or half empty? Definitely half full, although my wife may have something to say about that!

Culture vulture, sports fanatic or petrol head (or none of the above)? All of the above, although at heart a sports fan and, in particular, golf.

Blockbuster, romcom, thriller, musical? What sort of films do you like? Original comedies like Sideways are my favourite. Also enjoy action thrillers like the Bourne movies.

Fiction or non-fiction (what's the last good book you read)? Both. Really enjoyed White Tiger, a hilarious yet insightful look at life in India.

I'd rather be listening to... (song/ band/type of music) Moby - just now after walking past a record store in London where he was signing his new CD.

Holidays at home or away? Always away. I'm not a sun worshipper, but need guaranteed blue sky for a few days each year.

My favourite country outside of NI is... Rural Spain, in the mountains with the Paradors, food and atmosphere.

The most dangerous thing I've ever done is... Nothing dangerous - just adrenaline rushes like racing Formula Ford or abseiling.

How much tea or coffee do you drink in a day? Four cups of coffee - it has to be really strong yet smooth with crema on top. Spanish coffee is unbeatable. I also like Mann's in Belfast.

I couldn't live without... The above, my wife and family, the iPhone and golf clubs

A night in or a night out (if out where)? Out when we get the chance. Really enjoy the convenience and food in Parsons Nose, for example, with some friends or quick meal and movie somewhere in Belfast.

What's your poison... (favourite drink) Spanish red wine or New Zealand white wine or Café Belamonte (espresso with brandy plus condensed milk). Try it!

What I enjoy most about being in business is... Working with people, the adrenaline, the variety and challenges.

My childhood hero was... Ali or Seve. Both dedicated in their sports. Both oozed charisma.
