Out of the office: Harry Taylor

Harry Taylor, Master Franchisee for Ink World and currently looking to expand

Culture vulture, sports fanatic or petrol head? Sports fanatic. Football, golf, snooker are top of the list, but I can watch most.

What sort of films do you like? Court room dramas and detective films, particularly Columbo.

Fiction or non-fiction? What's the last good book you read? Non fiction. I'm currently reading 'Grinding it out' by Ray Kroc, the founder of McDonalds. I have also recently read three autobiographies by the dragons from Dragons Den. Next on my list is 'Against all odds', by James Dyson.

I'd rather be listening to... That's a tough one, I like so many groups and songs. Dire Straits, The Beatles, Queen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Dylan. James Taylor 'You've got a friend' would be amongst my favourites.

Holidays at home or away? Has to be away. I love pulling on shorts and a T-shirt and feeling the heat of the sun. When our kids where young we had many great holidays all over Ireland.

My favourite country outside of NI is... Spain. We've spent many holidays there and I love the country and the people.

The most dangerous thing I've ever done is... When I was younger I raced stock cars and drove in a few rallies. I have also been left to control a light airplane on my own, but fortunately my friend, a 'newly' qualified pilot was beside me

How much tea or coffee do you drink in a day? Three or four cups of tea, milk no sugar. I rarely drink coffee.

I couldn't live without... In work my internet connection. At home chilli con carne.

A night in or a night out? Generally a night in. I enjoy cooking so I will often spend an hour or two cooking in the evening.

What's your poison? A nice bottle of Spanish red wine when I'm cooking or out for a meal. A pint of Guinness when out with friends.

Sweet or savoury? Savoury dishes and sauces with plenty of herbs and spices.

What I enjoy most about being in business is... It's thrilling to be able to see the direct results of my efforts and each and every day presents new challenges. There is seldom a dull or boring moment and I love having only myself to answer to.

My childhood hero was... Jack Nicklaus.

If I didn't do my current job I'd be... In an ideal world, a professional golfer, I can see my sons and friends laughing now. In the real world I'm sure I would still be running my own business, I just could not work for someone else.

What would you like your epitaph to be? He drank good ale, and strong red wine, lived to the age of 99.

How do you like your news - TV, newspaper or online? Nearly always early morning TV Most days that is the only time I see the news.

My greatest achievement is... There are three, Steven, Stephanie and Jonathan.

Indoor comforts or the outdoor life? Outdoor life wins hands down. I love being outdoors and particularly enjoy the summer when the BBQ is lit and I can sit outside and read.
