Culture vulture, sports fanatic or petrol head (or none of the above) All of the above in the order of sports, culture, petrol.

Blockbuster, romcom, thriller, musical? Definitely a tense thriller, much to the dismay of my wife.

What's the last good book you read? The Fatal Storm by Rob Mundle.

I'd rather be listening to... Anything live and loud.

Holidays at home or away? Both.

My favourite country outside Northern Ireland is... Scotland or Italy.

The most dangerous thing I've ever done is... The two to three seconds before launching myself off a bungee platform.

How much tea or coffee do you drink in a day? Not a lot nowadays, but the odd espresso doesn't hurt.

I couldn't live without... My iPad and, of course, Lady Mildred, our adorable bulldog.

A night in or a night out? I love a good meal and a night in with friends, but Friday night at Ravenhill is hard to beat.

What's your poison? A well poured pint of Guinness.

Sweet or savoury? Savoury - cheese and crackers is a favourite.

What I enjoy most about being in business is... The addictive buzz of putting a deal together.

My childhood hero was... My grandfather Tom McDevitte MBE, aka Barney McCool.

If I didn't do my current job I would... Take over from David Attenborough on BBC's Frozen Planet.

What would you like your epitaph to be? Carpe diem.

How do you like your news - TV, newspaper or online? A mixture of newspaper and online.

My greatest achievement is... Launching John Minnis Estate Agents back in 2006.

Indoor comforts or the outdoor life? I love the thrill of outdoor sports, but a night in with my wife Shelley is also hard to beat.
