Phone a friend! Tarrant to quiz firms for charity

Businesses will be concentrating on their final answer when Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? host Chris Tarrant comes to town for a major charity quiz on St Patrick's night.

Chris, UK president of the Lord's Taverners, will host the Chris Tarrant's St Patrick's Giant Quiz Night in aid of the work of the Lord's Taverners Charity in Northern Ireland, and businesses across the province are invited to attend.

He has devised his own unique take on a corporate quiz and appealed to the business community to rise to the challenge and compete at the event to help raise funds for the work of the charity.

Chris said: "I have been to Belfast many times but never on St Patrick's night and I'm really looking forward to enjoying the famous 'craic'. The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity and I am privileged to be president."

The event, which is supported by Arthur Cox Solicitors and the Europa Hotel, will also include a drinks reception, a two-course dinner, musical entertainment and top prizes.

Businesses can book a table for 10 by sending a cheque for £500 to the Lord's Taverners, care of Joan Connell, Goldblatt McGuigan, Alfred House, 19 Alfred Street, Belfast, telephone 028 9031113 or email connellj@goldmac.com.
