A Co Armagh potato business has completed a £1.5m development programme, with the assistance of Invest Northern Ireland.
The Wilson's Country investment plan included the installation of new processing equipment and a water treatment system that can recycle water for use in the business.
To mark the completion of the development schedule, Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster MLA met up with Wilson's Country managing director, Lewis Cunningham, at the Stormont Estate to view the latest addition to its distribution fleet. To celebrate, Wilson's Country's new lorry features the tourist board's 'NI2012: Our Time Our Place' logo, with the addition of 'Our Spuds'.
Mr Cunningham said: "The management team at Wilson's Country was delighted to be so closely associated with an initiative that has highlighted all that is so good about Northern Ireland.
"One of our great strengths, as a region, is the quality of the produce coming from local farms.
"It is important that all of the good work put in over the past 12 months is built on during the period ahead."
Mr Cunningham said Wilson's Country had established itself as the brand leader within the local fresh potato market and pointed to growth in its export business.
"Export sales to the Republic of Ireland are also growing," he added.
