PSNI officer wins elite UK business award
A Belfast police chief has been awarded one of the UK’s highest business accolades.
David Jones, an Assistant Chief Constable with the PSNI, joins an elite group of just 1,400 businessmen with the title chartered manager.
The award recognises outstanding leadership skills from individuals who have made a lasting difference to organisations they work for. Mr Jones, whose strategic review of the police force led to savings of £10 million, went through vigorous assessment to win the title.
“I am really pleased to have achieved this accreditation as it highlights the business impact police leaders like me can make in delivering a better service for the public,” he said.
