Pubs body raises a glass to barclaycard banking partnership

Barclaycard has teamed up with trade body Pubs of Ulster members to offer deals on card payment services.

The system will help bring down the cost of banking, reduce the number of cash lodgements as well as reduce the amount of cash on pub premises.

Colin Neill, chief executive of Pubs of Ulster said that with public houses today facing an increasingly large number of overheads in the day-to-day running of their business, the link-up will help relieve some of this pressure on the industry.
