Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors building awards launch new categories

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Northern Ireland wants to present some of province's best buildings with awards.

The deadline for entry for the RICS Awards is Friday (January 24) – and there are eight categories, of which four are new.

These new categories honour buildings used commercially for both tourism and leisure. Buildings and areas that have been regenerated are also up for nominations for the first time.

RICS director Ben Collins said: "The RICS Awards are a unique opportunity for everyone working within the property and construction sectors to have their work highlighted on a local and international platform."

Anyone involved in any aspect of the construction and design industry can enter their building projects.
