Scheme is a no-brainer for any company's aims

RICHARD Martin (above), managing director of the Hillsborough-based software company Tascomi Ltd, found the help he received with reviewing his business's performance, assessing new market opportunities and identifying barriers to growth invaluable.

Commenting on his experiences, Richard said: "Invest NI's Business Growth Programme was immensely useful and insightful. Initially I was sceptical of the value I would get versus time commitment but I'm glad to say the programme was very beneficial in supporting the growth and strategic focus of our business."

Richard identified new opportunities in Great Britain, particularly in London, and applied to Invest NI's Business Growth Programme last year to help drive his growth ambitions. His company operates in a specialist market, developing and supplying bespoke software solutions to public sector organisations, and has benefited from a range of Invest NI support with its R&D, marketing and recruitment activities in recent years.

"We have been able to increase our employee headcount by three, thanks to the support of Invest NI, which has in turn allowed us to grow our turnover by more than 20%.

"This outcome, coupled with the straightforward application process, makes the Business Growth Programme a no-brainer for any company planning on accelerated growth", Richard added.
