Shell sets targets to boost output

ROYAL Dutch Shell has set out "ambitious" production targets as it embarks on a fresh wave of growth to meet demand from emerging markets. The oil and gas giant plans to invest $1bn (£62.4bn) on new projects in the next four years. It set a target of 3.7m barrels of oil equivalent per day for 214, a rise of 12% on 21 levels, which is among the highest in the sector.
