Sony in red again with record loss

Playstation maker Sony has racked up a record annual loss of 457bn yen (£3.5bn) in its fourth straight year of red ink.

It reported a loss of 255bn yen (£1.9bn) for the January-March period, a fifth straight quarterly net loss. Sony is attempting for a turnaround under new president, Kazuo Hirai, appointed last month.
