Staffing agency is bought out by its management team
A BELFAST-based healthcare agency has been bought out by two female directors.
Lucas Love HealthCare, established five years ago, employs eight people in providing both permanent and temporary staff to over 20 healthcare groups across the province.
The management buy-out will see current directors Sinead Polland and Susanne Ritchie take over full control of the operation.
Ms Polland, director and nurse manager, said that the move will help drive the business forward.
"Our growth to date is due to the focus on delivering excellence and quality for all our clients and we have a solid foundation on which to build for the future," she said.
"We have achieved so much and can now look forward to continued growth with the support of a focused and experienced team.
"Our ethos is to treat all healthcare professionals with the respect they deserve and ensure they receive the highest possible wage for what is a demanding and in some instances lowly paid job."
Ms Ritchie added: "I'm very proud to be working with a business which has successfully grown into a robust and profitable organisation, with much of the credit for that due to the hard work of our fantastic team, I am looking forward to growing and developing Lucas Love HealthCare for years to come."
The agency was part of the wider Lucas Love recruitment agency, which also has IT, legal and accountancy divisions.
