Strong Asia sales boost dairy firm

French dairy firm Danone said its revenue grew 7.6% in the first quarter of the year, driven by strong sales in Asia.

The maker of Evian water posted €5.1bn (£4.2bn) in revenue for January to March. While Danone is the world's largest yoghurt maker, much of its growth comes from bottled water sales, which it said are particularly strong in emerging markets.
