By Staff Reporter

Global sandwich giant Subway is opening its 100th Northern Ireland store in south Belfast. The new Subway on the upper Lisburn Road is owned by Muhammad Aamir and Akhlaq Akhtar.

This will be their third store in the province.

Subway first opened here nearly 20 years ago in Belfast's Botanic Avenue.

Its growth in Northern Ireland has been led by development agents Neil Black, Paul Heyes and Adam Heyes.

Commercial property agents Lisney helped negotiate the deal to open the new store.
