Unfinished apartments fetch £310k at auction

An UNFINISHED development of eight apartments in Lisburn has been sold for £310,000 at auction.

Laganville Court near the centre of Lisburn was one of 17 lots on offer at an auction held by Osborne King this month.

The agents said the auction -its second so far this year - had been a "success" with 14 out of the 17 lots being sold.

The Lisburn development, in which four apartments are almost finished, had a maximum reserve price of £250,000.

A west Belfast site at Townsend Street with full planning permission for a residential scheme exceeded its maximum reserve of £75,000 to fetch £125,000.

A spokeswoman for Osborne King said houses had been popular with bidders, with a partly-finished four bed detached outside Armagh selling for its asking price of £70,000, while a two bed terrace in Killough, Co Down sold for slightly over its reserve of £27,500.
