UniBaggage in £150k growth plan

A Northern Irish online courier company which transports student belongings to university has doubled its workforce as part of a £150,000 growth strategy.

Belfast-based is recruiting two new managers in its Titanic Quarter office and four general support staff, bringing its employee total to 12 over the coming months.

Paul Stewart (25), a student at Edinburgh University at the time, set up the company five years ago.

Since then, has expanded due to increased demand from new customers in international markets.

Mr Stewart said: "Although our core business is still mainly focused within the domestic market, over the past 12 months UniBaggage has expanded into more than 200 countries and territories worldwide and the new employees will service these areas."
