Vodafone office on the market for £2m
The Northern Ireland home of mobile communications giant Vodafone is on the market for £2m.
Agency CBRE is selling the Dundonald premises, which includes around 13,400 sq ft of office space with 29 parking spaces. The office is let to Cable & Wireless UK, which was acquired by Vodafone five years ago, for an annual rent of £178,224. The company is signed up for a lease of 25 years, which is due to expire in 2032 with a tenant break option in 2022.
Earlier this month, CBRE forecast an uplift in investment sales during 2017 following a slump in the aftermath of the vote to leave the EU. CBRE capital markets director Gavin Elliott said: "We are anticipating a number of major investment transactions that were stalled by the radical events of 2016 to complete in early 2017."
