Lisburn-based Xperience has bought two firms in England for an undisclosed sum.
The IT business has taken over Peterborough company CRM and financial software company DMC software Solutions. The investments have increased headcount at Xperience from 50 to 95.
It said the purchase of DMC is part of a targeted growth campaign to build market share both locally and in neighbouring Great Britain markets and follows the integration of Belfast based TCS Solutions into the Xperience Group in 2011.
Xperience said it's on target to achieve its goal of doubling business through organic growth and strategic acquisitions by 2013.
Managing Director of the Xperience Group Iain O'Kane said: "DMC is a significant player within CRM and financial services markets in GB and by working with Mike Ramsay (DMC managing director) and his team we are confident of capitalising on opportunities to take our brand and services into new areas."
In 2011, IT infrastructure firm TCS Solutions merged with Xperience and the company believes it is the right time to expand their business in England, Scotland and Wales.
"We believe that the time is right to expand our business into the GB market and develop on our solid foundations built over 40 years in the local marketplace."
