Yell's share rise after agreeing new deal

The turnaround hopes of Yellow Pages owner Yell were boosted when it agreed a new deal with lenders on its £2.6bn mountain.

The group plans to reinvent itself online as its traditional print directories business becomes increasingly obsolete, but it was in danger of breaching its banking covenants in coming years. Shares rose nearly 10% after it said it has agreed a deal that will give it more headroom.
