A £1.7m innovation centre with the capacity to house 125 workers has been opened in Ballymena.

The hub at the Ecos Centre has been launched by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council and tech business park Catalyst.

The facility has 20,000 sq ft of Grade A office space.

It's already home to firms employing 94 people. Tenants include PlotBox, which has developed technology for the digital mapping of cemeteries, and construction business Clarke Facades.
