£2.7 million Volvo showroom opens in Belfast
The Agnew Group have unveiled their new £2.7 million showroom, which showcases state of the art Volvos.
The showroom not only represents a rebrand for the motor retailers but hopes to boost customer experience as well.
The Agnew Belfast brand will replace Stanley Motor works, who has represented Volvo since 1959.
The two brands have been synonymous with Volvo in Northern Ireland since the Agnew Group acquired Stanley Motor Works.
Sydney Pentland, the managing director of Agnew Group said: "We wanted to ensure that Northern Ireland based Volvo clients were given the same opportunity to share in the Volvo Retail Experience that is accessible to customers’ right across the UK.
"This Swedish inspired concept focuses on space and design.
"The bespoke experience has been designed to make customers feel relaxed and at ease in an environment that informs and provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.
"Customers can take advantage of the Swedish ‘Fika’ branded coffee dock and customer facilities in their ‘living room’ waiting area.
"They can also browse each model within the showroom and configure their perfect car with wireless connectivity at each model displayed, or within the configuration lounge."
The public will be able to see seven new cars during the showcase display, and clients can preview the new V60 model, the Volvo XC60 midsize SUV and the XC40 from July 5.
The XC60 was named World Car of the Year 2018 at the New York Auto Show and the XC40 was crowned European Car of the Year.
"We have integrated an electric charging bay for customers. There is a dedicated fast fit tyre bay facility and we also offer 'while you wait' servicing," added Sydney.
"Of course, we have the usual courtesy car provision and we operate a collection and delivery facility within the Greater Belfast area."
"For us the customer experience is vital. We value our customers and we consistently aim to be responsive to their needs.
"Volvo currently enjoys a 6.7% market share of the premium segment in Northern Ireland. Year on year, Agnew Belfast has significantly improved their local share of Volvo trade in Northern Ireland by over 10%. We know what our clients want, and we consistently strive to exceed expectations."
Agnew have over 75 Selekt approved and prepared cars available in stock at any time, including demonstrators and ex-management cars on both the news site and in the adjacent Selekt used car facility.
