30 university roles among top public sector jobs advertised
Almost 30 academic roles at Ulster University's business and computing schools are among this week's top jobs, with some of the positions offering salaries of up to £49,177.
Two top professor posts are being advertised at the university's Agri-Food Business Development Centre, which is poised to be the leading centre for agri-food education, research and impact in the UK.
The large recruitment drive at the university also includes the role of director of talent and performance to lead, develop and manage the delivery of the university's staff performance and learning and development frameworks.
And at its School of Computing, 15 posts are available, including three research fellows in intelligent systems/the internet-of-things with salaries of up to £45,017.
A further 10 research associate posts as well as two research assistant roles are also being advertised.
In other areas of education, Queen's University is seeking senior post holders for its School of Nursing and Midwifery. The roles will contribute to the university's plans to expand its research capacity.
The posts include a professor of mental health, senior lecturer in adult nursing, children's nursing and midwifery.
In health, the Southern Health and Social Care Trust is looking for an estates development officer to develop and manage up to £500,000 of projects. It is expected to generate interest from architectural, quantity surveying and building professionals.
Meanwhile, the Western Health and Social Care Trust is looking for a ward manager at band seven level at Altnagelvin Area Hospital.
And the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a facilities co-ordinator and an office manager with salaries of up to £31,601 and £27,668 respectively.
