A Co Down firm that specialises in precision machined components has invested almost £400,000 to ensure its continued growth.

Based in Ballygowan, McGreevy Engineering has invested £395,000 over the last few years to secure machinery and suitable facilities to enable its ongoing growth and to fulfil orders from the United States.

The company, which employs 14 staff and is planning to expand the workforce in the future, received funding of £50,000 from Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council's Rural Business Investment Scheme.

Councillor Allan Ewart visited McGreevy Engineering's facility to see first-hand how the investment has assisted the company to increase its customer base and meet its targets for future growth.
