By John Mulgrew

A Belfast economic advisory practice has been acquired by accountancy firm Baker Tilly Mooney Moore.

The firm has taken on Webb Advisory, a specialist advisory practice, headed by economist Andrew Webb.

Mr Webb, who is a columnist for Business Telegraph, said: "In light of the current political situation in Northern Ireland, and the UK, and the economic uncertainties that come with it, it is a critical time for many businesses and organisations and I'm delighted to be taking on this new role."

Donal Laverty, consulting partner at Baker Tilly Mooney Moore, said: "We are delighted to have brought Andrew and his team into our practice as part of our ambitious growth strategy."
