Arcadia agrees new lease deal for stores at Fairhill centre
Arcadia Group has signed a new three-year agreement for three of its stores in Ballymena's Fairhill shopping centre.
The lease deal comes just days after reports that Sir Philip Green's fashion group had drawn up a list of 67 outlets that it wants to close across the UK and Ireland.
Arcadia's shops in the Co Antrim centre include Topshop/Topman, Dorothy Perkins/Burton and Wallis.
The Fairhill centre has also announced the addition of two new arrivals on the back of a 3% year-on-year rise in its first quarter footfall for 2019.
Toytown has relocated to the complex from its current premises on Church Street in the town, while an outlet of Boyzone member Shane Lynch's Amen Shoes will also open its doors later this month.
It brings the total number of retail units inside Fairhill close to the 50.
Commenting on the new additions, centre manager Natalie Jackson said: "We had a very strong end to 2018 and to see 2019 off to a flying start is fantastic.

"I am very proud of what the centre has achieved this year to date and the fact a number of our anchor tenants are continuing to work with us, with the addition of new stores, is a testament to the team at Fairhill."
