A Belfast fitout company behind some of Dublin's best known new hotels and restaurants is expected to grow by 25% this year.

Established in 2015 by west Belfast man Ronan Higham, Pure Fitout recently relocated to a new 25,000 sq ft facility in Mallusk. The managing director said the firm's turnover in 2017 was just below £17m, and is expected to increase by a quarter in 2018.

The company now employs 50 people and names the Press Up Group, Five Guys and Boojum as its key customers.

Co-founded by Paddy McKillen Jnr, the son of the Belfast-born property magnate, Press Up is fast asserting itself as one of the Republic's hospitality powers.

Some 15 new hotels, restaurants, bars and cinemas are due to open during 2019 and 2020.

Pure Fitout has completed the interior joinery and metalwork on all Press Up's projects since 2015.
