Carrick company to give Belfast store Lush new look

A Carrickfergus company has been awarded a contract to fit out a new flagship store in Belfast city centre.

McCue Crafted Fit will transform the Castle Lane branch of fresh handmade cosmetics giant Lush at a new bigger premises which will be the brand's largest outlet in Northern Ireland.

Lush will be trading from a new premises adjacent to its current shop.

Work on the 10-week project commenced last week.

Les McCracken, managing director of McCue Crafted Fit, said: "We are delighted to fit out the new Lush store in Belfast. Having worked with Lush for many years throughout the UK, it's good to be able to showcase our work for this brand and our expertise in Northern Ireland. As with all of our customers, we have built an excellent relationship with the team at Lush; this is fundamental to working with our clients and in each project we take a fresh approach and we're not afraid to do things differently. This is a good project for Belfast and we look forward to our work with Lush."

This project follows McCue's work to fit out Lush's award winning three-floor flagship store at Oxford Street in London featuring a spa with four treatment rooms. That project won Interior of the Year and Non Food Design of the Year at the UK Retail Week Interior Awards.

McCue has also worked with the brand at its customer care office in Poole, as well as their Bournemouth store.

McCue Crafted Fit is a specialist in high quality refurbishment and fit outs, with over 60 years' experience.
